My Limerick

WALT : Write a limerick poem Line 1´2 and 5 rhyme Line 3 and 4 rhyme 

There was a tiny black flea stuck in a tree.

And every day he tried to break free .

 He just couldn't cope .

So he then made a rope .

And then one day he jumped and broke free.

My first Haiku poems

 WALT: Write a Haiku poem. It is a poem based on syllables and follows a pattern of 5-7-5 

My name is Angus.

Now I like to stay up late.

I like play-stations.

My report writing on a Rhino

 Rhinos are a large animal that is native to South Africa like all their other family members. 

Rhinos have dark grey skin, bulging eyes and big large horns to attack predators. They have have thick skin compared to other animals Rhinos are one of the biggest animals on earth. The females will normally charge at  predators to protect their calves. They even kill other people by charging at them. That's why you don't want to provoke one.  

They can run up to 55 miles per hour. Rhinos mostly live alone, however sometimes they live in groups. 

Rhinos get hunted for their horns. They are very endangered and might go extinct. Especially the white rhino!

I chose to write about rhinos because they are so big and strong. They have thick skin.

The school trip

 At the start of the day room 4 and room 1 lined up at the bus. I was pretty excited to go on a field trip again so I sat down and looked at the view in seconds. We were all ready at Margret Mahy. It felt nice being with my mum. I was so excited playing with Ben and Liam. We went on slides, swings and much more. We walked to the Museum and looked at heaps of games that have been around for hundreds of years. You even got to make your own game out of a little bag of items I was having so much fun. And then we left and took a ride home on the bus.

Once I went to QEll. I slowly walked into the pool. It was to busy so I dragged a doughnut up the stairs to the hydroslide. When I saw the light turn green I went flying down down the slide. It was so fun! I even flipped over. I had to try and get on again. I got on but I was already done so I got off and dived in the deep water. I could even do a front flip under water. Then I got bored so I got home and had a shower.

A day in the life of a Red Panda

We are learning how to write first person.

I woke up just as sun was rising and I started to slide down the tree. I wandered down the path and saw a yummy bush. I thought I would eat it for breakfast. Yum! I climbed back up the tree with my sharp claws with the bush in my mouth then I went back to hiding in the tall tall tree so I was safe from other animals. I destroyed the sticks from the bush because I ate them so quickly. Then I went back to bed and blended in with the trees because my fur is like camouflage.

Angus´ arguement on video games.

I strongly believe that kids should be allowed to play

video games. Because you can talk to your friends. 

Some video games are educational and can help you to learn. Not all video games are violent. 

Firstly, not all video games are violent because you can talk to your friends, eliminate people with an axe or sword. In fact, some games can be fun.

Secondly some games are educational like Prodigy. It can help you to learn and that is why I like video games.

Finally not all video games are violent and some make you happy. 

Without a dout all children should be allowed to play video games because you can put age restrictions on, you can talk to your friends and video games aren't violent. I like video games because you can build.

Argument Writing.

I strongly believe it is bad for you when you go to sleep late because you get tired, you can get sore eyes and it will be hard to concentrate at school the next day.

Firstly going to sleep late can hurt your eyes and you may need to end up wearing glasses.
Secondly it is bad for you because you can get very tired and you could have an accident when you are driving.
Finally if you go to sleep too late you might not be able to concentrate at school the next day.
In conclusion I think that you should go to sleep more early so you are awake enough to concentrate the next day.

Shrek Character Description

Shrek is a happy but ugly ogre that does not like people.
Shrek has green skin that looks like grass.
Shrek has a big green egg for a head.
Shrek has a big bushy eyebrow as bushy as a bush.
Shrek has big hands like a giants hands.
He has thin ears like a razor blade.
Shrek has ragged clothes.
I like Shrek because he has brown long johns and he makes me laugh.


I don´t like Shrek sometimes because he is mean to his friend Donkey.

Friday Quick Write

Super TV

Once upon a time there was a big big house and in the house there lived a super TV and it had a canon. The canon blast big laser beams to save the day from bad people. One day there was a goblin...
it hit people with a rook and then the goblin hit the building, the TV came and shot the goblin. He felt good saving the day and then the TV kicked goblin far far away.

The Bear and the Bees.

WALT: Write a quality blog post.

The bear woke up. He was hungry.  Then the bear crawled out of his cave and saw a ground squirrel under a big rock and then the bear went down to the flushing water to go and get a meal. The next day the bear never got angry over a small bee.
The bear should not break the nest. Why did the bear eat leaves. The bear should have got the fish. And I

like that the bear jumped in to the water. I don´t like that he got no food.

LEVEL TWO

 One more sleep and the whole country goes to level two, I'm so looking forward going out with my family tomorrow to a mall and going shopping. My sister Aimee had a birthday in early April and she got some birthday money to spend I think we are going to Riccarton mall.
Hope everybody enjoys there day tomorrow and looking forward to school Monday to see my friends.

Bridle path walk.

On Sunday our family went up to the bridle path and here is a photo of me and my sis going up the pipe line it was my first time going straight up the hill this was more of a work out than going around the hill,once got up to the top of the road we walked over to look at the beautiful views of lyttelton harbor than ran down the hill back to the car..

Increase my fitness

Well the past four days I have increase my fitness i have been doing a bike ride around the big block with my sister and its just over 7 km less the sunshine is out so i can enjoy it more....

Good morning everyone today i started with doing a video clip with my sister doing a fitness challenge,Where we had to pots in front of us and a pair of socks each standing a meter away from the pots u throw the socks in to the pot than u do 3 star jumps in between and work your way far back as possible{NOW HAVE AGO]

Today i done my school work and went for a walk with my bubble,later i will do my daily run to get fast for the school cross country and do my football practice as im playing in a group this year

Baking with my family.

Today my family did baking we made banana muffins and rice bubble cake it was my first time so I didn't really know what I was doing so my mum helped us kids and I even got to take a photo of what was left because I taste so sweet being in my mouth.

Bees

Hornet  bees lay over 2000+ eggs a season. The queen bee-wasp is the one that lays all the eggs, The first baby grubs are the main workers in the hive. Grubs put a silky layer over them to grow and to protect themselves while they turn into proper bees.
