We have been learning to write a letter!, and today we decided to write one to Harold. 

Have yo experienced Harold being at your school before? Here is my writing:

Good morning Harold, My name is Angus and I wanted to write you a letter about what I've been doing in lock down. It's two weeks today since we went into lock down I was blown away to hear that there Is no school so I get to do my school work at home it's definitely different and some mornings i have be laying in as it's super nice to relax. I have been going for bike rides with my mum and sisters and lots of walks as my mum loves fitness,

I noticed i'm having a big growth spurt because i'm always hungry and keep eating lots and lots my mum said where are you putting it all,Yesterday I went outside and found some little bugs in the garden and made them a wee house  and I even feed some eels yesterday and I put some bread on my shoes and had some ducks eating the bread off my shoes.

• These have to be ready for students to take home

• If they are not the students will have no home learning

We need our chromebooks to do most of our work if they are not taken care of we will have to do paper work.

We have a hand towel at school to dry our hands after washing them.

This is a whiteboard that the teacher puts our instructions on with our daily timetable.

The story. 

There once was a book that belonged to my family for years and years but according to my mother , it is locked away in a safe because they didn't want me to have harm throughout reading this book even though I'm not allowed to read it, I started to get sick of not being able to. 

I will die to see this unknown book!

One night when my family was asleep I snuck into an office to try find papers or clues that could hint the code for the safe, and thats when I saw it- I saw a shiny safe hidden in the back...

Mum was taking us to the local shops to have a look aroundthan we just jumped out of the car and wee see a massive herd of animals! running freely down towards us,We scream and run to the shops and lock the doors,

The giraffe went inside our van we were watching these animals from inside the shop.

We couldn't believe our eyes the animals were in love with our van.

It was getting late in the afternoon and the yellow sun was going down

and the animals were being very loud,

We ran out the back door of the shop and ran all the way home.

The Story Of The Dragon

and this is a story about the insane siblings.  

 hundreds of years ago there were too siblings that had there own pet dragon named Timmy. There dragon was a fantastic flyer in those days there were no cars horses so our pet dragon was our only way of getting us around.our dragon Timmy let me and my brother jump on his back and Timmy would take us for a fly right up by the sunset it was so beautiful he was our best friend because Timmy blows fire out of his mouth he cooked all our meats for us and if we needed water 

Timmy would take us down to the bottom of the mountain and would full a massive bucket of water for our mum so we can drink and clean our self.

 During Lock-Down We Have Still Been Doing Math's. Today We Had To Create Our Own Work And Post To The Blog. Emma Goes To NBC

 

W.A.L.T Reflect on exciting experiences

This Tuesday 17th  August a VIP  came to our schools Assembly  we celebrated by singing and doing a  Hakka to them it was very loud witch made the juniors cover there ears then at the end the whole school sung a song to Emma and then she let us hold the gold Medal!

 My favourite part was when I got to touch the gold medal.

Emma Twigg Goes For Gold

Emma Twigg won a gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics last week. 

"I can't believe it. Honestly, crossing the line it was disbelief,"

Twigg was trying to win the gold medal in her race. She rowed really well and looked really excited at the end of her race. 

Emma began rowing in 2001

for  hawkes bay rowing club and Napier Girls high school. Within two years she was representing New zealand for the first time 2003 world rowing junior championships in Athens Greece as a part of the women's eight. 

In conclusion we can’t wait to see Emma next Olympics!

The Boy with wings is about a boy called Jack that had dead apple trees and loved following his dreams.  He will do anything to complete them. When he saw a bird he followed it to find water he went thru a

 tsunami and sand storm and thick fog on the top of a  mountain. Then he went  to a village with a pie that he could not afford then he got sent to jail and found a rat it came his pet. He heard that there was a key on the road and there was water under the rock at his house. He got the rat to get the key and saved him. Then he got back home and flipped over a rock. Heaps of water came out and all the trees grew apples again. ave you ever read the book?
