W.A.L.T Write a book review 

In room 2 weave finished this incredible chapter book called Billionaire Boy. It shows so much things but at the start he is poor but he gets rich fast.

Book review 

¨Joe lived the best life he could. He had everything he wanted except for one thing… A friend¨

Billionaire Boy is a very interesting book by David Walliams. It is weird because they are extremely poor but his life is about to change. His Dad quickly found out that selling toilet paper could change his life.... 

Over time he made billions, even trillions of dollars. He probably had the biggest house in the world. But one day Joe wanted to go to a normal school instead of his posh one. Joe was so happy because he always wanted to be a normal kid but he regretted going to the new school. I wonder why...

I would rate the book 4 out of 5 stars because it was very funny. 

I feel good about this book because it shares a lot of feelings about the characters and it is very interesting how it all squished together like a cool mystery story.  

I would recommend this book to people aged 3 to 15 because it is a chapter book and fifteen is an age where you need to read more.    

In conclusion you should read the book because it is a good book for all ages and so funny!

 W.A.L.T personally reflect on a chosen text

We shouldn't litter its a bad thing to do its bad for the environment pleas don´t litter look around for a bin. I feel sad that where ruining the environment I don´t like every minute we are killing animals and even fish I would like if we stop littering if I could control people I would make them stop littering.

Haiku poem

 W.A.L.T  Write a Haiku 

In room 2 weave been working on a Haiku about Autumn leaves. We started by making a brain storm and we write some words that could help us do it. 

 

Leaves are smashed like chips,

they fly around like a swan,

they look like a fire.

Refugee walk

W.A.L.T write brief recount

 On Monday 10th May the senior syndicate went to the red zone to act like refugees. While you walk around there was quest to complete. My favourite one was the hut building so there was heaps of big bits of plastic on the ground you will split up in groups and put up your bit of plastic in trees to make a nice hut. You had to fit your whole entire group in it. There were other activities like eating rice that was very very hot and getting your friend to the other side of the field without touching the cones. There was also a list with mandarin words on it but you had to answer in English.

Limericks

In room 2 we have been working on limericks. With the limerick you have got to write one about a character of your choice. I chose Bob the Builder!

There once was a man called Bob,

Who loved to eat corn on the cob!

He fell down the stairs, Into a bunch of chairs,

Smashing his corn on the cob!
